Travel

Visa

If you need a visa to enter Sweden, we strongly advise you to apply well in advance in your home country. You can obtain the latest visa information from the nearest Swedish Embassy or Consulate, or from your travel agency.

Getting to Stockholm

As a registered delegate, we offer you discounted air travel with the conference’s partner airlines (depending on the travel class you select.) To enjoy this discount, please use our online booking tool and present your conference registration confirmation and/or proof of attendance when booking.

Getting to the conference venue

The conference takes place at the Waterfront Congress Center in the heart of Stockholm.

By plane

From Arlanda airport:
The Arlanda Express train takes you to the Stockholm central train station in 20 minutes, with direct access to the conference venue.

The airport bus (Flygbus) takes you to Cityterminalen in 40 minutes, right next to the conference venue.
A taxi ride takes 40 minutes. We recommend requesting a fixed price of approx. 550 SEK to the city center, with one of the following taxi firms: Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, Top Cap or Taxi 020.

From Bromma airport:
The airport bus (Flygbus) takes you to Cityterminalen in 20 minutes, right next to the conference venue.
A taxi ride takes 20 minutes, we recommend one of the following taxi firms: Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, Top Cap or Taxi 020.

From Skavsta airport:
The airport bus (Flygbus) takes you to Cityterminalen in 80 minutes, right next to the conference venue.
A taxi ride takes 70 minutes, we recommend one of the following taxi firms: Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, Top Cap or Taxi 020.

By train

Stockholm central train station (T-Centralen / Stockholm Central) provides direct access to the conference venue.

By bus

All national and international buses arrive at Cityterminalen, right next to the conference venue.

By car

Badges

You can pick up your conference badge at the registration desk in the conference venue. Please wear this badge at all time, as only badge holders are admitted to conference sessions.

CME credits

We have applied for European CME credits (ECMEC) at the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). For reference, the most recent IFPA conference (2015) was granted 18 European CME credits. More information on accreditation of the upcoming conference will be published here soon.
You can pick up your CME certificate at the registration desk in the conference venue.

Certificate of Attendance

We will present all conference delegates with a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the conference.

Exhibition

Companies working with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis are welcome to exhibit at the conference. Please contact the conference organizing bureau Meetagain for info on exhibition opportunities.

Invitation letter

We can provide you with an official invitation letter to facilitate your visa application and/or for authorization to attend the conference. To request your invitation letter, simply fill out a form upon registration.
Please note that an invitation letter does not constitute a commitment on the part of the conference to provide any financial support.

Language

The official conference language is English. Simultaneous interpretation will not be offered.

Meals

Morning and afternoon tea is included in the registration fee, and will be served on-site. While lunch is not included in the registration fee, there are several excellent restaurants near the conference venue.

Press

Fully accredited members of the press are welcome to participate in the conference free of charge. You can find more information on the registration page.

Smoking

The entire conference is strictly non-smoking. This is in line with Sweden’s national law, which prohibits smoking in public buildings and public transport.

Insurance Disclaimer/Liability

The Conference Bureau or the Conference Secretariat cannot accept liability for injuries or losses of whatever nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor for loss of or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings. Please check the validity of your own travel insurance. All reasonable endeavors will be made to hold the 5th World Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis Conference 2018 and to present its program as scheduled under circumstances which assure the comfort and safety of all participants and accompanying persons. However, neither IFPA nor its committees, representatives or agents shall be held liable by any person as a result of the cancellation of the Conference or of any of the arrangements, programs or plans connected therewith, or for any injury, damage or inconvenience which may be suffered by any person while travelling to or from, or during such person’s presence in Sweden in connection with this Conference. Participants and accompanying persons are advised to purchase their own insurance against any such occurrences.
